We made Slurry Pit Safety Posters

We learned about the slurry pit and the dangers of it. A fact to know: if you are opening the slurry pit leave it and go home for 30 minutes to let the fumes go out. The poisonous gases from the slurry pit are: hydrogen sulphide, CO2, methane and ammonia.  

 I drew a labeled diagram of the slurry pit. 

    

    

                              We also learned that never to be on your phone when around a slurry pit.
